The faculty will be drawn from regional and international experts including members of AUK and RIT Faculty.  Note that all proposed Faculty/Guest Lecturers are subject to change.

  • Shaun Byrnes, retired US diplomat and head of US Kosovo Diplomatic Observer Mission, 1998-99
  • Brigadier General John Durance, British Army (Ret.), former Academic Director NATO Defense College, Rome, who also commanded the 35 Engineer Regiment in Bosnia and served as Commander of NATO HQ in Skopje.
  • Dr. Michael J. Dziedzic, Strategic Planner for UNMIK and principal drafter of UNMIK’s “Standards for Kosovo,” published in December 2003, US Institute for Peace (USIP); and co-editior, The Quest for Viable Peace, International Intervention and Strategies for Conflict Transformation. Currently Lecturer at Georgetown and Center for Peace and Stability Operations, USIP.
  • Dr. Obrad Savić, Kosovo Institute of Journalism and Communications; University of Leeds, UK
  • Louis Sell, AUK, retired US diplomat and author, Slobodan Milosevic and the Destruction of Yugoslavia.
  • Robert Wilton, UK Ministry of Defense, Kosovo expert and author.
  • Dr. Bill Wechsler, Instructor International Relations, Law, and Public Policy, AUK.

  • Brigadier General Guy Sands-Pingot, Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction

  • Dr. Paul Williams, American University, and Executive Director Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG) in Washington, DC, which provides assistance in peace negotiations, post-conflict constitution drafting, and war crimes prosecution.
