The Academic Services office provides all the services that relate to a student’s status in the university, from registration to graduation and all the steps in between. Academic Services connects you, and your records with the RIT system. Some of these services include:

• Course registration
• Course Drop/Add
• Course/Institute Withdrawal/Leave of Absence
• Change of Grade
• Change of Name
• Repeat of Grade
• Academic Probation/Suspension
• Application for Graduation
• Request official RIT transcripts (transcripts are required if you are applying to graduate school or transferring to another university)

You can find the Academic Services in the Student Services office on the ground floor. When you pass the reception desk, it is the first door on the right

You can meet with the academic advisors by making an appointment or you can walk in during the office hours posted on the door.
