AUK entered a student exchange agreement with the renowned Sciences Po or National Institute for Political Sciences of France, becoming the first university in the Balkans to establish such a partnership with the elite French university. The Institute is ranked among the top ten universities in the world.

Established in 1872, Sciences Po is a major social sciences research and teaching institution. It offers undergraduate and graduate education in economics, law, history, sociology and political science and it is a promoter of an interdisciplinary approach to learning. It has played a key role in educating generations of leaders in France including several Prime Ministers and Presidents.

The Institute has a vast international network of 350 partner universities, including top universities in Europe and across the world. It aims excellence in education and research, equality of opportunity in student intake, and the determination to provide excellent study and research conditions for its students and staff.

Under a partnership with AUK, Sciences Po will initially host two students from AUK one semester or for a whole academic year in their undergraduate and graduate departments. In exchange, AUK will also take two students from Sciences Po to study in Prishtina and enroll in any of its acclaimed programs and classes.

The aim of this partnership is to enhance each institution’s teaching, learning, and internationalization goals, and for AUK to offer to its students from Kosovo and the region an opportunity to study in France and create bridges of cooperation with both European and International peers.
