ScholarshipsThe American University of Kosovo is committed to assisting students whose academic merit warrant support. The University aims to give every student the opportunity to take advantage of a high quality AUK education and, accordingly, offers several scholarship incentives.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS AT AUK:

The Excellence in English Scholarship Award

The Excellence in English Scholarship is awarded to the students who demonstrate exceptional English Proficiency (iBT TOEFL).

The Excellence in SAT or ACT Scholarship Award

The Excellence in SAT or ACT Scholarship rewards students for outstanding SAT or ACT scores. The following incentives are awarded to students who meet the following results:

  • SAT 1100-1199 or ACT 23-24
    € 1,000 award
  • SAT 1200-1299 or ACT 25-27
    € 1,500 award
  • SAT 1300-1399 or ACT 28-30
    € 2,000 award
  • SAT 1400-1499 or ACT 31-33
    € 2,500 award
  • SAT 1500-1599 or ACT 34-36
    € 3,000 award


Note:
SAT score calculated without writing section.
A student is eligible for both TOEFL and SAT or ACT scholarship award.

President’s Scholarship (based on merit: SAT and outside school activities).

Trustees Scholarship (based on merit: TOEFL and outside school activities).
Award up to 2,500 EUR

Top School student Scholarship (based on high school grades, recommendations and TOEFL)
Award up to 2,000 EUR

William Walker Scholarship (based on high school grades and TOEFL)
Award up to 2,000 EUR

Cami Family Scholarship (based on merit and hometown)
*students from Dibra region-Macedonia are encouraged to apply
Award up to 2,000 EUR

Founders Scholarship (based on SAT)
Award up to 2,000 EUR

Parents Fund Scholarship (based on TOEFL, high school grades)
Award up to 2,000 EUR

 Regional Scholarships for:

  • Albania
  • Macedonia

Up to four students will receive scholarship awards varying in amount of 1,000-2,000 EUR.

After the first successful year at AUK awarded students with excellent, named, hometown and regional scholarships:

WORK STUDY PROGRAM:

Various positions are available on campus for students to earn additional funds while studying. For detailed information about current work-study open positions, please visit the recruiting office on campus.
