AUK is located in the nation’s capital Prishtina, which at the same time is also the most important economical centre of Kosova. Being located near the Germia, the largest park in the city, AUK offers its students a great natural environment.
Accreditation and Diploma
AUK is in partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology, one of the ten largest private universities in the USA, with an estimated number of around 16.000 students. AUK students are part of RIT and work according to RIT academic programs. In the end of their studies they obtain the RIT diploma which is recognized internationally.
CURRICULUM and the teaching staff
AUK offers Bachelor of Arts studies as well as Master of Science, which are based on academic programs deriving from RIT. The students are not required to declare their major in THE FIRST TWO YEARS of studies, since in the first two years they are required to take general courses, in order for them to build a strong foundation.
In their third year the students have a variety of programs to choose for their major. The programs offered currently at AUK are as follows; Management, Economics with Statistics, Public Policies and Media and Graphic Communication.
The academic staff of AUK is highly qualified. Every one of the staff members have at least the Academic grade of Masters Level, whereas most of them posses a PhD in their respective fields. AUK faculty before being able to teach need to be approved by RIT.
PREPARATORY COURSE
Students applying at AUK, WHO DO NOT reach expected results in TOEFL and Mathematics testing are offered to do a preparatory course, which is organized several times during the academic year. All preparatory courses are intensive and they last for 7-8 weeks, with approximately 96 hours. All students registered on preparatory courses take lessons in English language and Mathematics.

Students get additional subject in English language and mathematics.
Based on the results, these are required to take 3-9 months course in English language and mathematics.
Scholarship and financial support
We are aware that the price for education at AUK is high to many families in Kosovo and the region so we provide scholarships and financial support for our students. There is a number of scholarships provided on the bases of personal merits, financial support based on the necessity, work and study programs which offer a job for students in AUK administration centre.

After AUK
As part of the academic programs at AUK is also the Cooperative Education which requires that students take during their studies. Every student is required to complete at least two internships in order to fulfill the required number of 800 work hours. This approach has shown to be extremely successful for students in helping them to find jobs and build their careers after the studies. As a result of this and the great education that our students receive, over 93% of AUK students are employed upon graduation. Our students are employed in the best private companies in Kosovo and the region as well as in government institutions. Many of them are employed in different banks like Pro Credit, Raiffeisen, TEB and successful companies such as Dukagjini Group, Elkos , Mabetex as well as government institutions. Others have continued studies in prestigious universities in the United States and Europe.
