American University in Kosovo (AUK) offers a diverse studying environment and AUK takes great pride in its multinational student body. Our students come from over twenty different countries of the world, making our campus a true melting pot of different cultures.
While the mission of AUK is to offer a high standard education for the youth of Kosovo, we strongly believe that by opening the doors for students from around the world, we offer a great experience and an added value for students, so they can be better prepared for the globalized world we live in.

The great diversity among our student population gives our institution a richness that distinguishes AUK from other higher education institutions in the region.

Although majority of our International students are of Albanian descent, often we admit students with no heritage ties to Kosovo and this is a good sign that AUK is becoming more and more an internationally renowned institution.
Our admissions office continuously responds to requests from students from around the world who want to come and study at AUK.
Besides freshmen students, we accept also transfer students from accredited institutions from around the world.
