How much does it cost to attend the ASC?

The ASC is free of charge to any student currently registered for classes at AUK.

How can the faculty best utilize ASC services?

In addition to referring students to the ASC, faculty members are also encouraged to provide resources and suggest ideas for (and even conduct) ASC workshops. This collaboration can lead to better ways of providing targeted academic support to our students.

What types of workshops does the ASC provide?

The ASC presents workshops on a variety of topics. Some of our more popular workshops have focused on writing CV’s and cover messages, interviewing for a job, organizing essays, avoiding grammar errors, and even dining out practicing proper etiquette.

Does the ASC provide editing services?

The ASC is NOT an editing service. Although ASC tutors provide personalized academic support, the tutor’s primary role is to help students help themselves. Tutors will guide tutees in the right direction; however, it’s up to the individual student to complete assignments and to strengthen academic skills.
