Personal Statement:
The personal essay is one of the most important parts of this application. Your essay will show us how you think and
how you write and it will help our admission committee get to know you better as a person and as a student. We
would like you to write an essay (250–500 words) on only one of the topics listed below. The essay should be within this
range of words. It should not be too long nor should it be too short.

  1. Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its
    impact on you.
  2. Describe a character in fiction, an historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had
an influence on you, and explain that influence.
  3. A range of academic interests, personal perspectives, and life experiences adds much to the educational mix.
Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates what you would bring to the diversity
in a university community, or an encounter that demonstrated the importance of diversity to you.

Letters of recommendation:
You must submit two letters of recommendation. One must be from an academic source, such as a current or
former teacher. The other should be from a professional source, such as an employer or co-worker. If you have
no work experience, the second letter may be from a personal associate.
(The hard copy should be sent at admissions officee).

Have you ever been dismissed, placed on probation, suspended from school or convicted of a crime?:
